Cybersecurity Awareness Month: New videos, games, and ready-to-use resources

Native spam filters miss things. Cold outreach, bulk lead lists, and newsletters employees never signed up for still land in inboxes every day, and security teams have no way to catch what those filters let through.

Today, we're launching Email Security Spam & Graymail Protection: email security that identifies inbox-delivered spam and graymail that existing filters missed.

What's in Spam & Graymail Protection

Adaptive scans mail that has already passed through your email provider's spam filtering and native security stack, and identifies what those systems let through.

  • Detection. Every inbox-delivered email is screened for spam and graymail, using the same detection engine that already catches malicious and phishing email in Adaptive Email Security.
  • Auto-remediation. Once detection is on, Adaptive can automatically move flagged spam and graymail out of employee inboxes, into whatever destination admins choose.
  • Admin-controlled thresholds. Admins set the confidence threshold for action and the destination for flagged mail, whether that's a spam folder, a quarantine, or somewhere else.

How It Fits Into Your Existing Workflow

Spam & Graymail Protection lives in the same Email Security dashboard admins already use to review and remediate malicious and phishing email. Flagged spam and graymail show up alongside those threats, with the same controls: adjust thresholds, choose a destination, and reclassify or undo any action.

There's nothing new to learn and nothing new to configure from scratch. It's the same detection and remediation workflow, extended to a category of email that used to slip through untouched.

Available Now

Spam & Graymail Protection is live now for all Adaptive Email Security customers. Head to Settings to turn on detection and configure auto-remediation.
