Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Adaptive Security ("Adaptive Security," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our internal financial and marketing analytics tool ("Finance Analytics"). Finance Analytics is an internal business intelligence application that aggregates data from our own third-party business accounts — including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), QuickBooks Online, Ramp, and Salesforce — into a private data warehouse that we own and operate on Google Cloud Platform.

Finance Analytics is not a consumer product and is not available to the public. It is used exclusively by authorized Adaptive Security personnel for internal reporting purposes.

Scope of This Policy

This section specifically addresses data accessed through our integration with the LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform.

What We Access Through LinkedIn

Through LinkedIn's APIs, we access only data about our own company's LinkedIn presence, including:

• Organization page follower counts and aggregate segmentation (by industry, seniority, function, country)
• Organic post engagement metrics for posts authored by our company page (impressions, reactions, comments, shares, clicks)
• Advertising campaign metadata, budgets, targeting configurations, and run schedules for ad accounts we own
• Advertising campaign performance analytics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions) for ad accounts we own

We do not access, collect, or store:

• Individual LinkedIn member identities, profiles, or contact information
• Direct messages or private communications
• Information about LinkedIn members other than in aggregated, anonymized rollups provided directly by LinkedIn's APIs
• Data belonging to LinkedIn pages or ad accounts other than our own

How We Use the Information

Data accessed via LinkedIn APIs is used solely for:

• Internal executive reporting and dashboards
• Evaluating the performance of our own marketing activities
• Financial and operational analytics for Adaptive Security's own business

We do not sell, rent, license, or share LinkedIn-sourced data with any third party.

How We Store and Protect the Information

• Data is stored in Google BigQuery within a Google Cloud Platform project owned and controlled by Adaptive Security Holdings Inc.
• Data in transit is encrypted via TLS.
• Data at rest is encrypted by default under Google Cloud's encryption standards.
• Access to the underlying BigQuery datasets is restricted to authorized Adaptive Security personnel via Google Cloud IAM.
• API credentials (access tokens, refresh tokens, client secrets) are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager with least-privilege access controls.

Retention

We retain data from LinkedIn APIs only as long as necessary for the analytical purposes described above. Aggregated marketing and advertising performance data may be retained indefinitely for historical trend analysis. We will delete data upon termination of our LinkedIn Developer agreement or if LinkedIn revokes our API access.

Sub-Processors

We use the following infrastructure providers to store and process data on our behalf:

• Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Secret Manager, Cloud Run) — data warehouse and compute
• Hex Technologies, Inc. — internal dashboard and notebook platform (reads from BigQuery under our IAM controls)

Both providers are bound by their own enterprise security and privacy obligations. Neither accesses LinkedIn data for their own purposes.

Rights of LinkedIn Members

Finance Analytics is an internal tool, and the data we access via LinkedIn APIs is business-level information about our own company's page and advertising accounts — not personal data about individual LinkedIn members. If you believe we have collected your personal data in error, you may contact us using the information below and we will investigate and respond.

Compliance with LinkedIn Terms

We access LinkedIn data in accordance with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use, Data Processing Terms, and applicable privacy laws. We do not cache, redistribute, or re-share LinkedIn data in a manner inconsistent with those terms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
